I was born and raised in the Alger Heights community of Grand Rapids. When I started my career, I was goal-oriented from the start. On top of being CEO for Steve Volkers Group, I play the role of Strategic Innovation Consultant for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. My business has grown and shaped organically over the years. I love to meet the needs and requests of my clients by creating honest, friendly relationships within the communities I serve. That, and a bit of elbow grease.
At Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, I work with an amazing group of Real Estate professionals, helping to develop the goals of success at a level that fits them; consulting on team development and principles that allow for brokerage and agent growth. No two teams, clients or agents are built the same and neither is a brokerage that supports independent contractors looking to grow their business. When I got my license in 2007 and started Steve Volkers Group that same year, my priority was providing counsel about the process of buying or selling a home to, not only my clients but, also, my team. My mantra, "Knowledge is Power", motivates in to learn and implement the most unique, cutting-edge strategies in the industry. Whether it be listing, buying, marketing or consulting - I make it a point to always keep growing and learning.
Taking on roles like owning a small business or strategic consultation, isn't about telling people what to do. To me, it's about following the lead and guiding those around you.
